Health and Well-Being
Tea consumption is beneficial to human health. Research shows that regular tea consumers have a reduced risk of certain chronic diseases, such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. The substances in tea that promote these health benefits are called polyphenols, mainly flavonoids. Catechin, a type of flavonoid, is the component primarily responsible for the health benefits of tea.
We at Majani believe that the tea culture in Kenya is a main factor in the good health of its citizens and the extraordinary achievements of its athletes. Why not enjoy the same brew that our medal-winning long-distance runners use to hydrate?
